Things to do.

  • Beacon Fell Country Park

    Woodland, moorland and farmland. The Beacon Fell summit is 266 metres (873 feet) above sea level and offers spectacular views of the Forest of Bowland and Morecambe Bay.

  • The Horns Dam

    Three picturesque fishing lakes offering plenty of surprises with carp over 25lb, bream over 10lb and tench over 6lb, with a good head of roach, rudd, chub and specimen perch.

  • Brock Bottoms

    Long and short walks, much of the river is very shallow and perfect for paddling. Along the way you’ll eventually come to the mill ruins. Built around 1790 the site housed about 20 cottages for the workers at the cotton spinning mill.
